The Company represents in Ukraine production of 16 milk processing plants.
Ukraine is the biggest country in Eastern Europe. Its territory makes up 603.5 thousand sq. km. Population – 46.2 mln. Annual output of milk of 2008 – 11,761.8 tonnes. (http://www.ukrstat.gov.ua).
Milk processing plants are situated in the regions of Ukraine due to 2 main factors:
1) the most favorable climatic zones for milk production;
2) administrative and industrial (urban) zones of Ukraine with high demand for milk products.
Milkiland N.V. is represented in Ukraine by DE Milkiland-Ukraine which has consolidated 16 milk processing plants. The plants produce dairy products under DE Milkiland-Ukraine own trade marks and for distribution by DE Milkiland-Ukraine.
