At the present territory of First Kyiv City Milk Plant since 1859 was located a brewery of a
merchant Ivan Tolley.
Milk plant was built in 1929 and it was the sole dairy plant in Kyiv till 1961.The plant got #1 with appearance of the second dairy plant in Kyiv in 1962.
The plant became Closed joint-stock company "First Kyiv City Dairy Plant" in 1999.
For 31.12.2007 ã. productive capacity of the plant per 24 hours is:
- milk processing - 150 t;
- whole milk products - 40 t;
- ñondensed milk - 14 t;
- butter - 20 t;
- cheese - 7 t.
The enterprise staff is 318 people.
