"Chernigiv City Milk Plant" was built in Chernihiv city in 1956 with productive capacity 78,3 tonnes of milk processing per day.
This capacity encreased to 100 tonnes per 24 hours in 1970 and to 200 tonnes in 1998.
The plant became a public corporation in 1996.
Productive capacity by production as for 31.12.2007 ã. is, tonnes/24 hours:
- butter – 10;
- soft cheese - 0,5;
- processed cheese -0,6;
- whole milk products :
- pasteurized milk – 27;
- sour cream – 7,5;
- cottage cheese – 4,5 – 5,0;
- cultured milk production -12;
- dry milk products (powders) – 7;
- casein – 2,8.
The enterprise staff as for the year 2007 is on average 598 people.
