Nizhyn City Milk Plant was founded in 1964.
The plant had productive capavity 70 t of raw milk per 24 hours, shared to 20 tonnes for whole milk products and 50 tonnes for butter.
Ây 1993 ã. the plant was rebuilt and set in operation with productive capacity 360 tonnes of raw milk per 24 hours.
The plant became a Public Corporation in 1995.
Since 1996 the plant has got Tetra Pak lines of aseptic filling to Tetra Brick packagings and has provided packeging services for juice producers.
The plant also produced a soy milk for cattle feeding.
Annual output of production by the beggining of 2000 year amounts to above 80000 tonnes of milk processed to butter, skimmed milk powder, full cream milk powder, UHT- milk and up to 15000 tonnes of fruit juices and nectars.
In 2002 the evaporation dryer VRC 4, capacity 1 tonn of dryed milk products per 1 hour, was set in operation.
Branch "Nizhyn City Milk Plant" of DE "Aromat" was founded by the decision of the owners of the Public Corporation "Nizhyn City Milk Plant" on 25 November 2003.
As of 31.12.2007 productive capacity of the plat is:
butter - 37 t per 24 hours;
dryed milk products - 28 t per 24 hours;
In volumes of milk processed that is: 360 tonnes of raw milk per 24 hours.
The enterprise staff is 279 people.
