"Menskiy Syr", was set in operation on January 1st, 1988 with planned production capacity 450 tonnes of milk per 24 hour.
The plant produced whole milk products, cottage cheese, sour cream, firm cheeses, processed cheeses, dry milk products.
At presant time the plant produces cheese, whey powder and butter.
A new line with the capacity of 40 tonnes of cheese per 24 hours is expected to be set in operation at "Menskiy Syr" in 2008. The equipment is supplied from the Netherlands. A new salting workshop supplied with Czech equipment is to be set in operation as well.
In such a way "Menskiy Syr" increases its cheese production capacity twice that allows to double whey powder production.
The enterprise staff as for the year 2007 is on average 576 people.
