"Konotop Milk Plant" was built in 1964. The plant produced butter, whole milk products and ice-cream.
Productive capacity of the plant was doubled after the reconstruction in 1988. Milk processing amounted to 100 tonnes per 24 hours.
In 1994 an ice-cream workshop was built. Casein workshop was set in operation in 1995.
The plant had been a Public corporation from 1994 to 2005. In the year 2005 Konotop Milk Plant became a Branch of "MalKA-trans" LLC.
The main production facilities of the plant are at the beginning of 2008 - whole milk production workshop, butter workshop and whey powder workshop as well.
As for 31st of December, 2007, the plant processed 100 tonnes of milk per 24 hours. The output of whole milk products is 15 tonnes, butter - 2,5 tonnes, whey powder - 6 tonnes, cottage cheese - 1,5 tonnes per 24 hours.
The enterprise staff is 208 people.
