Okhtyrka Cheese Combinat was built in 1988.
Planned productive capacity of the plant was 236 tonnes of milk procession per 24 hours.
The plant produced cheese, milk powders, lactose, whole milk products.
The plant didn't work from 1992 to 1995. In 1996 the plant produced soy milk.
Milk procession was restarted in 1996 when the plant became a Public Corporation.
Okhtyrka Cheese Combinat became a Branch of "Ros" Private Enterprise in 2005.
As of December 31, 2007 the plant has 3 producing workshops:
1) cheese workshop (firm, semi-firm cheese, soft cheese);
2) dry milk workshop (produces whey powder);
3) butter workshop.
Volume of milk processing is currently 200-280 tonnes per 24 hours.
Location: Sumy region, Okhtyrka, Transportna str., 1-À. Total square of land 8,39 hectare.
The enterprise staff is 400 people.
