During a meeting of Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Head of Russian Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance (Rospotrebnadzor) Gennadiy Onishchenko in Moscow on 17 April 2012, the parties agreed to lift the temporary limitations of export to Russia of cheese, produces by Mena cheese plant, Gadyach and Pyryatin cheese plants. All of those enterprises have recently passed the Rospotrebnadzor’s inspections.
During a visit to Ukraine of Gennadiy Onishchenko, Head of Russian Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance (Rospotrebnadzor), and his meeting with the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko the parties has been principally agreed an approach to lifting a temporary limitations on export of Ukrainian cheese to Russia imposed by Rospotrebnadzor.
Mena cheese plant (“Prometey” subsidiary of the Milkiland Group) is ready for the inspection of experts of the Russian Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance (Rospotrebnadzor) and is going to provide a full support for their activities during the visit. The letter with the respective invitation has been sent today to the Chief sanitary officer of Russian Federation Mr. Gennadiy Onishchenko.
